Cinematic Orchestra: From Reel To Real The Cinematic Orchestra have gained international acclaim for their fusion of studio electronics with live jazz musicianship. This eight minute film, shot during an intimate show at London’s Cargo last year and shown on Channel 4 Music twice this year, explores the background to their recently-released new soundtrack to Dziga Vertov’s groundbreaking 1929 documentary Man With A Movie Camera. From Reel To Real is also included on the Ninja Tune DVD of the film – along with half an hour of live footage from the show.
